A YOUNG man had admitted to using a fake gun as part of an attempted robbery in Witney.
Andreas Hegedus, 23, appeared via video link at Oxford Crown Court on Tuesday (March 2) for a plea hearing.
He pleaded guilty to one count each of attempted robbery and possession of an imitation firearm, namely a gun.

The incident took place on December 29 last year in Corn Street, Witney, where Hegedus forced entry into a home and attempted to steal money to an unknown value.
He was arrested on New Year’s Eve.
Hegedus, of Burford Road, Witney, will now be sentenced at the same court on April 30.
The hearing was adjourned for a pre-sentence report to establish the dangerousness of the defendant.
