The YBFs continue their search for nation’s best and brightest butchers, bakers and cocktail makers, as well as food writers and entrepreneurs.

The past two years have seen The YBFs unearth the UK’s finest home grown talents, including Charlotte Harbottle, of Girl Butcher fame, The Rib Man Mark Gevaux and Michelin-starred chef and restaurateur Tom Sellers, of celebrated Restaurant Story. Last year’s judges included top chef and cookery writer Yotam Ottolenghi, pictured.

The YBFs Awards invites food enthusiasts to enter any of its eight diverse categories: Alcohol, Street-Food, Experiential, Baking, Meat, Chefs, Food Writing, Coffee, and Honorary. The awards are open to anyone – from DIY charcuterie-makers or street food entrepreneurs to established pros in the kitchen; The YBFs are simply looking for food and drink lovers who act on their passion.

Winners will receive the help and support that they need to achieve their foodie ambitions, as well as the opportunity to show off their skills at the Awards evening. Entries close in July. Visit the-ybfs.com for entry details.
