I AM writing with reference to the front page story of Tuesday September 5, ‘£100,000 to get rid of this’ concerning the superdump at Redbridge Hollow.
This dump site is situated next to a site for the travelling community and the residents there are unaware of the identity or identities of the perpetrators of this disgusting pile of rubbish on their doorstep.
I think the person or people responsible for the dump must be very brave to go to a place occupied by the travelling fraternity, fly-tip on their doorstep and not be concerned about possible repercussions from the residents.
