MAY I say thank you to Keith Brooks for answering my letter “age doesn’t add up”.
I certainly meant no disrespect to the gentleman concerned.
I am appalled to learn that he is still waiting to have his blue badge renewed, especially after HMS OCC cashed his cheque two months earlier. This is certainly no way to treat any pensioner, let alone someone who put his life on the line so that those inconsiderate so and so’s who are responsible for this cock-up, can live the life they do today.
The very least they can do is apologise in writing and renew his blue badge from the time he receives it, not when the old one expired.
I hope sincerely that the matter of the blue badge is resolved very soon.
