I have just read ‘Witney councillors fear being second Abingdon’, September 29, and it occurred to me that one could substitute Abingdon with Bicester and the article would not be very different, because Witney’s councillors’ fears are being realised in Bicester.
I chose to live and then retire in Bicester, but with the town’s character having been and being ruined with Cherwell District Council’s connivance, I am now planning to move.
