I READ with interest the article yesterday, ‘Campaigners turn to prayer to protect community pool’.
Do they really think praying to an imaginary supernatural God will do anything at all?
They must be living in Cloud Cuckoo Land, not in the scientific world that is 2014.
I think religion is a sort of comfort blanket for grown ups to turn to when they get stressed, or when something nasty happens to them.
But at least a comfort blanket is real, can be seen, touched, held smelled and chewed.
