Passion blunder makes city a laughing stock
WHAT kind of people does Oxford City Council employ when a licensing officer doesn’t know that Christ’s Passion is the focus of Easter?
Worse: does such a person work in the public sector without supervision?
Even if that officer lives his blunder down, he will have made a laughing-stock of our oldest seat of learning and dealt a discouraging blow to the Cowley Road community which is exemplary.
