IT WAS very disappointing to see the Queen wearing a fur hat after attending church with her family on Christmas morning.
I’ve often seen pictures of her wearing a full length fur coat. The Queen is patron of the RSPCA so, presumably, she would be aware of the cruelty involved in how fur garments are produced.
A fur coat would require many animals and the suffering is huge.
On Boxing Day the royals always devote their time to slaughtering pheasants on the Sandringham estate and years ago the Queen would club to death the birds that her husband Philip had shot.
The Queen, along with the rest of her family, are out of touch with public opinion on cruelty to animals.
