FIRST ATTEMPT AT INDOOR PENTATHLON!

At the British Masters (BMAF) Indoor Pentathlon Competition and VAC/EVAC Indoor T & F Champs held at the Lee Valley Centre, on Sunday 13th February 2011, David Kuester of Bicester AC and Oxford City AC Veterans was 2nd in the British Pentathlon with a PB of 2,072 points and 1st in the VAC Shot Putt in the 65+ age group. Individual event results were as follows: Pentathlon: EVENT Time/Dist Place Points 60m Hurdles = 14.01m (2nd) 377 Long Jump = 3.47m (2nd) 461 Shot Putt = 9.27m (1st) 706 High Jump = 1.15m (3nd) 528 1,000m = DNF (?) 0 Total = 2,072 VAC T&F: Shot Putt = 9.16m (1st) THEN: 5 MEDALS WON at British Indoor T & F Champs!

At the 28th British Open Masters Indoor T & F and Winter Throws Championships at the Lee Valley Athletics Centre, Edmonton, London on Saturday & Sunday, 26th& 27th February 2011, David Kuester of Bicester AC and Oxford City AC Veterans won GOLD in the Javelin throw, SILVER in the Discus, and BRONZE in the Hammer, Shot Putt and Heavy Hammer (Weight) events in the 65+ age group. The weather was not very kind as it was wet, windy and very cold!
