Youths off again

Oxford United’s FA Youth Cup third-round tie against Barnsley was postponed last night for the third time.

The game, due to be held at Thame United, was called off around an hour before kick-off due to a waterlogged pitch.

Considering there was no rain on Wednesday, it was bad enough for us locals to turn up, let alone the Barnsley lads coming down, if there was a risk, which there obviously was, an inspection should have happened a lot earlier in the day to save a lot of wasted time and money.
