Oxfordshire Under 13s, who finished top of the Shires League rankings
OXFORDSHIRE Under 13s finished top of the Shires League rankings after collecting a sixth straight win.
Having already beaten Hampshire, Avon, Berkshire, Northants and Worcestershire, Oxon saw off Dorset 15-5 in their final match at Bartholemew School, Eynsham.
Oxfordshire’s winning team were Safia Khimji, Jessica Barnes, Rubie Gray, Louise Atkins, Ben Roberts, Alex Cook, Charlie Shan and Jamie Cackett.
Victory over Dorset meant Oxon finished ahead of favourites Buckinghamshire.
Oxfordshire will now face Surrey, Leicestershire and Bucks, plus four play-off winners in the national finals at Walsall University on Sunday, April 22.
