BRADLEY Smith returns to race action after the summer break in tomorrow’s Czech Republic MotoGP.

The 26-year-old, who hails from Forest Hill, will be hoping to build on a mainly positive first half of the season with the new KTM team at Brno.

Smith, who was forced to miss two rounds due to an injured finger, has scored eight points so far, with a best finish of 13th at Le Mans in May.

With the Austrian team still developing in their rookie season, the Oxfordshire rider will be hoping to provide KTM with further data to ensure 2018 brings more improvement.

However, Smith struggled in a wet first practice session yesterday, posting the 22nd fastest time.

He was then 23rd in second practice, seven tenths of a second off the pace.
