GLADIATORS Club and Vikings Club are still looking for their first victories following a 3-3 draw in the Johnsons Buildbase Oxford & District Summer League, writes PETE EWINS.
Mick Stratford put Vikings in front, before Bob Pincombe (5,480) and Dave Jarman (3,680) replied.
Vikings hit back, but Pincombe put Gladiators back in front, only for John Joe Kelly to rescue a point with victory over Dave Gordon.
Leaders Donnington Club also drew 3-3 at home to Bletchingdon Club.
After trailing 3-1, Andy Skinner (4,570) and Pete Soanes (4,230) fought back to earn the visitors a share of the spoils Democrats Club won 4-2 at home to second-placed Berinsfield Club.
John Patey (6,070 & 4,030), Eddie Tebby and Bob Parsons won for the hosts, with Adam Ingram and Phil Mcfarland replying.
