DOUGIE Forshew won a close contest to lift Kidlington AS’s Henry Clarke Cup.
The top three in the club’s 12th points match all used bread fished with the pole.
Forshew won with 4lb 15oz 0drms. Dave Britnall was runner-up on 3.8.0 and Henry Clarke third on 1.7.0 Pete Oliver landed 21 carp for a winning weight of 57.13.0 in the fifth round of Yarnton & District’s Winter League at Rissington Lake.
Fishing the pole at 11 metres with corn over micros. Ernie Smith was second with 9.1.1, with Andy Wiffin third on 6.7.0.
