ROSIE Greer fared best when three Abingdon GC youngsters competed in the national championships for the Downie Cup.
Competing in the girls event at Guildford, Greer just missed out on a top-ten placing the voluntary level 4 competition.
She finished 11th, and after her total was added to her compulsory level 4 score from earlier in the year, she is now ranked 15th in Britain for nine-year-olds.
Two Abingdon juniors competed in the boys event in Birmingham.
Tai Anderson was part of the south team in the club level 1 category and finished in 28th place individually.
Oliver Markham competed in club level 2 and came 27th, but the south team of which he was a member, took bronze.
