OXFORD Saints made it seven out of seven with a 28-10 victory over Cornish Sharks.

A clinical second-half display extended Oxford’s unbeaten run in Division 2 of the Southern Conference West and ruined the hosts’ party in what was their 100th game.

Sharks went ahead through David Kriehn’s kick, but the visitors drew level when Sam Fielden was on target from 25 yards.

Saints took the lead when quarterback Destin Maulding went over to put them 9-3 up at half-time.

They made a flying start to the third period when James Walter scored with a 37-yard touchdown run, capped off by a successful kick from Fielden.

They made it 22-3 when Maulding ran in from a yard.

Oxford continued to dominate and extended their advantage further when running back Kev Brooks raced in for a 57-yard score for a 28-3 lead.

The hosts rallied, with Shaun Griffin going over and Kriehn successful with his kick.

But Saints ran out comfortable winners.
