BILLIARDS: Keith Pearce shines in first victory
KEITH Pearce won the deciding frame as Cowley Conservative Club A beat Ashton 2-1 to record their first win of the season in the Gentworks Oxford & District League.
After Cowley’s Dick Hashman and Ashton’s Shane Chambers won the first two frames, Pearce then beat Terry Chambers 200-186 in the decider.
Headington Conservative Club A triumphed 3-0 at home to Oxford Bowls B.
