Cowley Workers Club maintained their challenge for the Greene King ODDA Summer League Premier Section title with a 6-3 win over now second-placed Challow British Legion.
Wayland Honour, Pete Hall, Jon Jukes and a 3-0 pairs victory helped Cowley preserve their 100 per cent record.
They are now a point ahead of Challow with two games in hand.
Mark Fowler, Tim Tricker, Simon Tricker and Dan Kirton helped the Democrats to a narrow 5-4 win at Goodlake Arms.
In Section 3, Masons threw away a 3-0 lead, before beating Black Bull 6-3.
Steve, Daniel and Lee Pratley gave the hosts a healthy early advantage, but Steve Dennett, Trevor Skinner and Tony Wheeler helped Black Bull level at 3-3.
However, a 3-0 pairs win ensured victory for Masons.
In the ladies’ competition, the Crown Inn came away from Donnington Community Centre A with a 6-3 triumph in Section 1.
Katie Moore and Charlotte Adams gave the visitors a 2-0 lead, before the home side pulled a leg back through Ann Clark.
Sam Moore restored Crown’s two-leg advantage, but Donnington’s Emily Baldwin hit back.
However, Caz Chorley made it 4-2, before a 2-1 pairs win sealed victory for the Crown.
Julie Mitchell, Janet Dyer, Dawn Newbold, Sylvia Cann and Joy Beesley helped George Bar A to a 6-3 win over Marston British Legion B in Section 3.
