Chipping Norton trainer Charlie Longsdon landed a 16-1 across-the-card double at Plumpton and Ludlow yesterday with Zarawi and Promanco respectively.
Zarawi (7-2 favourite) landed a two-mile handicap hurdle by ten lengths, while Promanco (11-4) captured a novices’ hurdle.
Childesplay was a runaway winner for Heather Main’s Kingston Lisle stables, near Wantage, at Ascot on Saturday.
The 20-1 shot turned the closing six-furlong handicap into a procession by storming home three and a half lengths clear of Stellarta under 17-year-old Tom Marquand.
