AN under-strength Horspath team went down 94-83 at home to Newport in a tightly contested South and South Wales Division 1 match.
Zac Payne, Lee Clark and Andy Johnson impressed for the home team, but the Welsh side had much too much strength in depth.
Young riders Owen Johnson and Josh Ramshaw picked up useful points for Horspath showing that their experience from riding these matches is paying off.
