THE Oxford Mail Youth League won two honours at the Oxfordshire Football Association awards night. They picked up both the Charter Standard League and Youth Respect League of the year accolades.

More than 100 representatives from local grassroots football were present, with 16 winners and 31 nominees commemorated for their efforts in developing football in the county. Wychwood’s Lee Woodward won the coach of the year award.

Among the others to receive recognition were Garden City’s Andrew Cassettari, who received the outstanding contribution to grassroots football award, while Kidlington Youth’s Paula Wynn was presented with the club welfare officer of the year accolade.
