OxfordCity Stars coach Darryl Morvan has spoken of his delight following their 10-3 win at Solihull.

"It was a good result following on from the win over Coventry the week before," said Morvan.

"Solihull are never an easy team to play against, especially on their own rink, as we found out in our cup game there earlier in the season.

"What was especially pleasing was the way the team adapted to new line combinations forced on us by the suspensions to Grant Bailey, Jacob Smith and Will Skaife.

"The team's work rate was exemplary, and we are now beginning to look more like the team that did so well last season.

"With such a good team performance it is difficult to highlight individuals, but some performances of note included Lee Featherstone and Nick Eden on defence, both James Skaife and Kevin McGurk in the net, and Nick Oliver also had a solid game.

"We must now use these last two performances as springboards for our remaining fixtures if we want to finish the season with a placing that is deserving of the ability this team has."
