Oxford City Stars made it two wins in a row with a 10-3 victory away at Solihull in South Division A.

Without the suspended trio of Grant Bailey, Jacob Smith and Will Skaife, Stars were out of the blocks quickly, opening the scoring on four minutes when Alan Green exchanged passes with Nick Oliver before slamming home.

And Stars doubled their lead as Kent Johnson set up Darren Elliott after Solihull's Phil Knight was banished to the sin-bin for two minutes for holding.

Although strikes from Neil Adams and Erik Bakalar brought Solihull level, a double from Johnson restored Stars' two-goal cushion.

It got even better for Stars, with Green making it 5-2 and Elliott slotting home No 6.

Green then set up rookie Joe Edwards (pictured) for their seventh.

Solihull's Steve Doyle saw red after hitting Sam Broughton. Doyle pushed Broughton to the floor before punching him. Doyle was later handed a one-match ban.

Dave Carr increased Stars' advantage after being set up brilliantly by skipper Elliott, before Johnson allowed Dean Francis to make it 9-2.

Netminder James Skaife, who had been sick all week, was replaced by Kevin McGurk.

Although Solihull pulled another back, Green compounded their misery with Oxford's tenth.
