The seven-year-old dug deep under Denis O'Regan to beat Spring Dream in a mares' only maiden hurdle.
Meanwhile, at Ludlow, Paul Webber, who trains at Cropredy, near Banbury, struck with odds-on shot Edgeover in a maiden hurdle.
