Wallingford Ladies continued their impressive start in Trysports 3 Counties League Premier 1 with another big win.
They followed last week’s 4-3 victory over Reading 2A with a 4-0 win at Wycombe 2nd.
Rover Oxford 2nd were beaten 3-2 at home by Amersham & Chalfont. They went one down inside five minutes, before an excellent move down the right brought an equaliser.
Nic Bates found Sarah Gorick, who passed to Lyn Cockshot, and she picked out Lydia Farrell, who fired in a well-taken goal.
Shona Emmanuel fed Cockshot who ran on to fire home to make it 2-1 at half-time.
Amersham levelled from a short corner and grabbed a winner as Rover tired.
In Premier 2, Helen Robey got the only goal of the game as Oxford Hawks 3rd beat South Bucks 1-0.
Jen Arthur struck a hat-trick as City of Oxford 3rd overwhelmed Phoenix & Ranelagh 2nd 6-0 in Division 2. Annette Cooper, Ellie Groves and Leoni Baker also scored.
