HOCKEY: Lynn leads Oxford fightback

LynnN Cockshott scored a hat-trick as Oxford Ladies 2nd came from behind to win 4-1 at home to Hampstead & Westminster 3rd in Division 3A of the South Clubs League The visitors made the better start and their early pressure led to the first goal. But Cockshott soon equalised to make it 1-1 at half-time.

Oxford, however, soon equalised through Lyn Cockshott to level the scores at half time.

The hosts dominated the second half, with Sarah Cannon controlling midfield.

Cockshott scored twice to completed her treble, while Helen Backhouse added a fourth.
