A DEBUT goal from substitute Imogen Lancaster saw Oxford United end a run of four straight league defeats as they came from behind to draw 1-1 with Durham.
The teenager marked her U’s bow by notching in first-half injury-time yesterday, cancelling out Jordan Atkinson’s opener in the FA Women’s Super League 2 clash.
Lancaster came on as a seventh-minute replacement for the injured Corinne Yorston, and proved the saviour.
“Coming from behind shows great character and Imogen deserved her debut goal,” said United midfielder Danielle Carlton.
“She trains well, works hard and has taken her chance.”
