Oxfordshire Under 16s blew Herefordshire away with a five-goal salvo in the first half at Carterton to romp to a 6-1 victory and set up a title decider in the Midland Counties Youth Championship.
The emphatic win means Oxon can now look forward to a championship winner-takes-all clash away to Birmingham on Sunday, May 11.
Josh Gibbens set Oxfordshire on the way in the second minute, scoring at the second attempt after his initial header was blocked.
Will McEachran doubled their lead in the 13th minute with a powerful shot, and a minute later Matt Peake-Pijen slotted home No 3.
Matt Knapton was next on the scoresheet and Jordi Mulvany completed the first-half goal spree.
Connor Mellor capitalised on a back pass to make it 6-0 early in the second half.
Oxfordshire returned the favour in the 67th minute with Ryan Davies shooting home for Herefordshire’s lone reply.
