Matthew Peake-Pijnen’s double helped Oxford City Under 15s fight back for a 3-1 win at Cheltenham & District in the Hobbs Cup quarter-final.
Cheltenham opened the scoring, but Oxford levelled when Peake-Pijnen ran on to a through ball from James McCarthy to slot home.
Peake-Pijnen then put Oxford ahead, and Rav Shamsi added a third to seal victory.
TIMON Williams’s strike gave Cherwell (Oxford) a 1-0 win at King Alfred’s (Wantage) in the ESFA Under 16 Schools’ Cup sixth round.
