FOOTBALL: Letcombe advance to semi-finals
LETCOMBE scraped into the semi-finals of the Berks & Bucks Intermediate Cup with a narrow 2-1 win at Finchampstead after extra-time.
The home side took the lead just before the break when Scott Hunter struck.
Letcombe laboured throughout the second half, but bagged the equaliser in stoppage time when Sean Webb headed home.
And just a minute into extra-time, Tom Stone netted on the rebound after a Richie Claydon effort hit a post.
Letcombe will face Olney Town away from home in the semi-final on February 13.
