Danny Trinder helped leaders Mansfield Road to a 4-1 home win over Launton Sports in the Oxfordshire Senior League Division 2 with a brace of goals.
Thomas Gibbons and James Watkins also netted for the hosts, with Neil Tattersall providing Launton’s lone reply.
Horspath were held to a 0-0 draw at home to Marston Saints on a boggy pitch.
Horspath Res scored three second-half goals to beat Charlton United Res 3-1 and deny the hosts their first victory of the season in Division 2.
Charlton took the lead midway through the first half when Chris Staker converted a penalty.

And they carried the advantage into half-time after Horspath’s Jon Maskens missed from the penalty spot.
But the visitors wouldn’t be denied after the break as Simon Cullen, Dan Wormington and Tom Williams found the net to secure victory.
Yarnton Res were comfortable 2-0 home winners over Chalgrove Res thanks to a goal in each half from Andrew Paine and Stephen Litten.
Paine opened the scoring and Litten sealed it in the second half after Rob Cantwell had missed the chance to level from the penalty spot.
He saw his effort well saved by Yarnton keeper Tristan Robson.
