Dan Hall fired a four-timer as holders Carterton Rangers eased through with an emphatic 7-2 thrashing of Eynsham SSC in their rearranged Oxfordshire John Fathers Junior Shield second-round game.

Carterton had been mere minutes away from a 4-3 victory when the original tie was abandoned due to a serious injury last week, but made up for that disappointment in style.

Billy Hales, Elliot Witt and Lee Keyes also netted for Carterton, while John Griffiths and John Ayres replied.

Chris Lawrence smashed in a spectacular five-timer and Dave Pryse also bagged a brace as FC Nomads won 7-2 at home to Kingham.

Ducklington trounced Bodicote Sports 6-0, with Josh Hartley netting twice and George Townsend, Dave Rabbich, Kevin Davies and Harry Cornforth also among the goals.
