MARK Gaul fired a second-half winner as Bletchingdon saw off visitors Stonesfield 3-2 to reach the third round.

Gaul completed his brace to seal a tie, which was poised 2-2 at half-time.

Bletchingdon led 2-0 thanks to Gaul and Richard Wells, who headed home Andy McMahon’s cross in his first game for three years at the hosts.

Stonesfield hit back when Michael Bateman twice punished defensive lapses.

Sub Matty Holton could have extended Bletchingdon’s lead late on, but kicked the ground when well placed.

Oxford University Press were 2-1 winners at home to Mansfield Road.

Jimmy Gray hit a post for OUP before they took the lead on 40 minutes.

Sam Wharton netted the rebound after Mansfield keeper Henry Moran saved his initial shot.

Chris Baker made it 2-0 after turning and firing home on the hour.

Louis McGillycuddy replied with an 80th minute free-kick, but it was not enough.
