Didcot Town’s resurgence under manager Dave Mudge continued with a hard-fought 2-0 victory away to fellow Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 South & West strugglers Clevedon.
The visitors dominated the first half and took the lead on the half-hour when Danny Seaward was shoved over by Clevedon defender Charlie Rich and Tom Mudge made no mistake from the pennalty spot.
Seaward made it 2-0 after the break with a low strike.
Clevedon came to life, Didcot keeper Dean Santangelo brilliantly turning over Ashley Kington’s header while Chris Gale hit the bar with a stinging volley, as Didcot held on.
