NORTH Leigh booked their place in the Oxfordshire Senior Cup final after a 3-0 win over Oxford City last night.
John Brough’s side raced into an early two-goal lead when Lance Williams and Roger James netted inside the opening four minutes in the clash at Thame United.
Williams found the net after just two minutes, with James doubling the advantage 90 seconds later.
North Leigh goalkeeper Manny Agboola was forced off through injury on 23 minutes, meaning outfield player Morgan Williams took over between the sticks.
But City were unable to get back in the game.
And nine minutes from time George Seacole secured victory with No 3.
Banbury United’s bid to reach the Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division play-offs is still alive after a 1-0 win at Chesham United.
Callum White scored the only goal of the game in the 68th minute to give Mike Ford’s side three points against a fellow contender.
