GEORGE Seacole returns for North Leigh as they entertain Slimbridge in Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 South & West tomorrow.

A hamstring injury has kept the Millers’ 25-goal top-scorer out for the last two weeks.

But with three of their last four games falling foul of the weather, he has missed just one game.

“I think he’s the only one who’s been happy about all the postponements we’ve had,” said manager John Brough, whose side have played the joint fewest games in the division.

“He might need a couple of games to get his overall play back up to speed, but I know that if there’s a chance to score he’ll be in the right areas and he will take it.”

Brough now has a full squad to choose from, although he has lost right-back Richard Platt, who has joined Premier Division outfit Kings Langley.

Didcot Town are without midfielder Declan Benjamin (hamstring) for their trip to Bideford.

The Railwaymen have been forced to wait for their first win of 2017, drawing their opening three games of the calendar year and then seeing their last two matches frozen off.

“It’s been massively frustrating,” said player-manager Andy Ballard.

“We were disappointed not to get more from our last game against Wimborne (a 1-1 draw), so the lads really wanted to get back to winning ways as quickly as possible.

“We’ve been playing all the sides around us and picked up draws in the last four games.

“We haven’t really done enough to win those, but we’ve certainly done enough to pick up a point.

“On the positive side, we’re not losing games and we’ve picked up points in games that earlier in the season we would have lost.”

With Ryan Barney (hamstring) and Jack Longford (knee) also out, youngster James Tanner has been called up from the youth team.

Wantage Town remain without Harvey Scholes (ankle), Adam Doyle (knee), and Tai Hulbert-Thomas (hernia) as they entertain Larkhall Athletic.

Banbury United boss Mike Ford believes his side’s trip to Merthyr Town tomorrow is the biggest threat to their superb run of form they have faced.

The Puritans are one of the Premier Division’s form sides, storming into the top five with seven wins from nine games.

But Ford warned Merthyr, one place and two points above Banbury, will provide a sterner test of his side’s abilities.

He said: “They gave us a bit of a scare earlier in the season when they came here (a 1-1 draw).

“I would say they’re the best side we’ve seen this season.”

Ricky Johnson remains out with a knee injury.

Kidlington boss Julian McCalmon has an unchanged squad to choose from as his side host struggling Histon in Division 1 Central.

Henry Owen (ribs) and Ben Weedon (hamstring) are still sidelined.
