TWO goals at the end of the first half gave Letcombe a 2-0 victory away to lowly Woodstock Town in Division 1 West of the Uhlsport Hellenic League.

Tom Rowe put the visitors ahead after 33 minutes, stabbing home a close-range shot.

Their second came five minutes later when Calum Pryce, who had travelled home from Cardiff University to play, saw his low cross converted by Owen Shaw for his first goal of the season.

Woodstock’s Nathan Geary was sent off in the second half for pushing Tom Eatwell in the face, but Letcombe failed to capitalise on their numerical advantage.

In Division 1 East, Bicester Town players left the field downhearted after being held to a goalless draw at home to Penn & Tylers Green.
