OXFORD City boss Justin Merritt is backing his side to reach the third round of the FA Trophy with victory at Cheltenham Town tonight.
A stoppage-time goal from Bobbie Dale earned the Vanarama National League leaders a 2-2 draw at Marsh Lane on Saturday, forcing a replay neither side wanted.
But with the hosts again likely to field fringe players and youngsters, City's manager is confident.
“I think it’s played into our hands a little bit that the FA Trophy is not Cheltenham’s priority,” he said.
A trip to Woking awaits the victors, with City likely to name an unchanged side.
Defender Lee Henderson, who has been sidelined with an ankle injury since the end of September, was an unused substitute on Saturday, but is unlikely to be ready to play a part this evening.
Oxford City (v Cheltenham Tn, away): from Walker, King, Arzamendi, Benjamin, Coulson, Santiago, Lapoujade, Pond, Fleet, Lafuente, Isaac, Bubb, McDonagh, Jackson, Pifarré.
