Holderd Banbury United have been given as tough tie away to Oxford City in the quarter-finals of the Oxfordshire Senior Cup.

In the draw, made before Oxford United’s Emirates FA Cup third round victory over Swansea at the Kassam Stadium yesterday, Banbury boss Mike Ford was pitted against the club which he left in 2014.

Oxford United were drawn at home to former finalists Ardley United, while Carterton and North Leigh meet in a West Oxfordshire derby Kidlington are away to fellow Uhlsport Hellenic League side Thame United.

None of these sides were in action this weekend, when the local football scene was decimated by the weather.

Oxford City’s Vanarama National League South match at home to Concord Rangers was called off, with matches in the Evo-Stik Southern League and Uhlsport Hellenic League also wiped out, along with Kidlington’s FA Vase fourth round tie at home to Knaphill.

Oxfordshire Senior Cup 4th round draw: Oxford Utd v Ardley Utd, Carterton v North Leigh, Oxford City v Banbury Utd, Thame Utd v Kidlington.

All matches to be completed by February 18.
