Bradley Bubb made it two goals in two games as Oxford City recorded a 3-1 victory in their Vanarama National League South match at St Albans City.

Bubb, who scored a spectacular goal from halfway and also missed a penalty in the 2-2 draw at home to Chelmsford City on Saturday, wrapped the victory in stoppage time following earlier strikes from Kynan Isaac and Ander Del Alamo.

After Del Alamo, Isaac and Bubb had all seen shots blocked in the early stages, Isaac put City ahead on 21 minutes following a long clearance downfield.

St Albans were level within two minutes later thanks to a strike from Louis Theophanous.

City continued to dominate in the second half and regained the lead in the 70th minute when Del Alamo netted following a goalmouth scramble.

With the home side seeking a equaliser, Bubb broke clear in injury time to score City’s third goal and secure a well-merited victory.
