Tommy Castle scored late on to earn Kidlington a valuwith star five-goal show able 2-2 draw away to fellow Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division promotion contenders Ascot United.

The hosts opened the scoring in the 65th minute through John Bennett, but Kidlington drew level ten minutes later when Kristian Thomas lashed home.

Substitute Leon Yarnie looked to have won it for the home side when he put them back in front in the 80th minute.

However, deep into added time, Castle struck with a spectacular equaliser.

Sam Collier, who formed an effective striking partnership with new signing Richie Guy, scored on his return as Abingdon United eased their relegation worries with a 2-0 victory at Bracknell Town.

Abingdon took the lead after 40 minutes. Jon Steedman’s skidding low ball causing panic in the home defence and a poor clearance came out to Jamie Mundy who made no mistake.

The visitors held on in the second half and made sure of the victory ten minutes from time, when Frankie Haines’s cross fell to Collier who swivelled on the spot and fired home via the upright.

Ardley United made it backto-back wins with a 2-1 victory at Newbury.

The visitors scored after just 44 seconds. From Adam Beckett’s throw-in, Luke Ingram chipped the ball over home keeper Freddie Gee.

The hosts hit back two minutes later when the unmarked Dave Parry tapped home following another throw-in.

The winner goal came six minutes before the break when Kieran Scott fired in.

Thame United went down 1-0 away to leaders Highmoor Ibis, whose only goal came through Anthony White.

Milton United came from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 away to tenman Highworth Town, who took a 2-0 lead through Sam Wadieh and Liam Edmondson, despite seeing Steve Bunce sent off early on.

Milton drew level with goals from Richie Claydon and Ryan Tapping.

Oxford City Nomads won 4-1 at struggling Shrivenham with goals from Matt Peake, Kiron Peake, Louis Joyce and Zac McEachran.
