Headington Amateurs moved up to second in Uhlsport Hellenic LeagueDivision 1 East with a 1-0 win at AFC Hinckley on Saturday.

Paul Hedger scored the winner goal from the penalty spot on 72 minutes.

Leaders Milton United suffered a 1-0 defeat at Chalfont Wasps, David Zealey on target.

Sam Rarity scored a double on his debut as Chinnor won 3-0 at Finchampstead.

Craig Faulconbridge completed their tally.

Henley Town were hammered 4-0 at Burnham whose scorers were Joe Lloyd, Adam Goldie, Aaron O’Brien and Billy Davis.

Premier Division basement boys Abingdon Town crashed to a 10-0 defeat at Ascot United, who moved within four points of leaders Ardley United, who were without a game.

Jermaine Roche (6), Daryl McLean (2), Rob Saunders and David Hancock were on target.

Shrivenham won 2-1 at Reading Town, with goals from Josh Fowler and David Coleman. Lamin Sankoh replied.

Kidlington fought back to win 3-1 at Thame United.

Marcus Mealing had put Thame ahead from the penalty spot in front of a bumper crowd of 113, but goals from Tom Castle, Danny Bone and Lewis Coyle won it for the visitors.

George Seacole bagged a brace for North Leigh United as they hammered New College Swindon 5-1 at home in Division 1 West.

Alfie Saunders, Jacob Hughes and Rory Linford-Pill completed their nap hand. John Rees hit back.

Bottom-placed Letcombe recorded only their second win of the season with a 4-1 victory at home to fellow strugglers, Old Woodstock Town.

James Glover with a double, Toby Arup and Alex Thomas were on target for Letcombe.

Richard Brooks scored for Old Woodstock from the penalty spot.

Carterton went down to a 4-1 defeat at home to leaders Tytherington Rocks whose scorers were Justin Bishop (2), Joe White and Nick Peare. Reece Bayliss replied.

John McMahon netted a double for Easington Sports as they drew 3-3 at home to Malmesbury Victoria.

Ben Milner was their other scorer.

But a James Townsend strike and two own goals from the home side secured a point for the visitors.
