BLACK Swan pulled off a shock as they booked a place in the Ridgeway Cup final with a 3-1 win at home to Sutton Wanderers, writes TIM SIRET.

Michael Quinan put the Division 3B hosts in front from an acute angle, but Wanderers, of Division 2, levelled with a goal from Ryan Leahy.

Quinan crossed for Jesse Mortimer to put the Swan back ahead on the stroke of half-time, and as the visitors pushed forward they were stung by Mortimer.

Harry Jenkins scored and saved a penalty as Kings Arms Wheatley swept Zubry Oxford aside 5-0 in the Devenney Cup semi-finals.

Luke Cuff, Aftab Hafiz and Sean Jacobs put the home side in charge before Jenkins took centre stage.

The goalkeeper converted a penalty and went on to keep out a Zubry spot-kick.

Cuff completed the scoring to send Wheatley through.

John Mills hit six goals as Division 1 leaders Kidlington Royals ran riot in a 14-1 home win against nine-man Standlake Garage.

Ryan Curtin grabbed four, while their scoring was completed by two from James Organ and goals from Richard Brookes and Daniel Roberts.

Mev Gundem netted for the away side.

Yellow Eagles went top of Division 2 with a 5-2 home win against Didcot Casuals.

Dan Morgan and Ben Crawford gave the hosts a 2-0 lead and Lloyd Little added a third with an overhead kick.

An own goal made it 4-0, but Casuals hit back through Josh Witts and Jamie Clark before John O’Dwyer settled it with the hosts’ fifth.

The result took the Eagles above Cholsey United, who lost at home to Saxton Rovers.

Josh Gilsenan and Paul Moran scored for Rovers, while Cholsey’s consolation was a Chris Wilkins own goal.

Aaron Laman fired a hat-trick as Railway Wheatley beat Chatsworth Buccaneers 6-0 to top Division 3A.

A Shaun Liptrott brace and another from Seb Warner completed the scoring.

Promotion hopefuls Freeland Yeoman also enjoyed a big win, hammering Iffley Harriers 5-0 at home.

Steve Carvey scored twice and there were also goals for Marc Buckingham, Lee Walton and Paul Salter.

Michael Yearwood, Lee Jackson and Robert Hatt all found the net as Northway Boys & Girls won 3-1 at home to Abba Athletic.
