Aaron Barrett’s brace helped Garsington to a 4-1 home win over Kennington in the Oxfordshire Senior League Premier Division.

Mark Boaler opened the scoring for Garsington, Barrett doubled their lead before half-time, and Kennington fell further behind when Richard Morgan struck following a corner.

Garsington made it 4-0 with Barrett’s second, before Matty Midwinter pulled one back.

Oxford Irish ran out 2-1 winners at home to basement boys Launton Sports.

Thomas Parker and Thomas Gaughan’s superb free-kick gave Irish the edge. Danny Taylor hit a hat-trick as hosts Eynsham kept up their Division 1 title challenge by walloping Watlington 6-1.

John Whiteley, Jimmy Rossiter and Andy Glossop also netted for Eynsham, with Connor Bilachi providing Watlington’s lone reply.

Crak Ellis had capitalised on a mix-up to give Launton a second-half lead only for Carl Heaven to equalise from the restart.

Seth Osborne hit a hat-trick as Eynsham Res roared back for a 5-4 win at Stonesfield Res.

Tom Olley and substitute Andnes Klasan also netted for Eynsham, with Daine Crockford, Pete Miller, Ryan Hunt and Gary Samuel’s solo effort making up the tally for Stonesfield.

Tom Cooper’s 25-yard drive five minutes from time earned lowly Marston Saints Res a 3-3 draw at home to Freeland Res.
