Debutant Jermaine ferreira scored twice as AFC Hinksey humbled last year’s runners-up and Premier Division rivals Dorchester United 4-2 in round one, writes TIM SIRET.

Marlon James gave Hink-sey the lead with a penalty after Anaclet Odhiambo was fouled, but then had a second spot-kick saved by Dorchester keeper Toby Coffey.

Brian Rawlings equalised with a volley before Hink-sey’s Jelroy Constant crossed for Ferreira to score.

Rawlings levelled again before the break, but James made amends for his penalty miss to set up Odhiambo in the second half.

Kieron Davis and Odhiambo then set up a second for Ferreira.

Holders Kings Arms Whe-atley had a comfortable 6-2 home win against newboys AFC Woodfarm.

Ben Green fired the visitors ahead, but a Darren Smith 40-yarder restored parity.

Top scorer Neil Lockhart put Wheatley in front and a volley from Jeff Simmonds made it 3-1.

In the second half, Woodfarm pulled one back through Luke Day. But Simmonds, Jay Hill and Luke Cuss wrapped up the win.

Joe Cook and Aaron Barrett both slammed trebles as AFC Cowley easily overcame their ‘banana skin’ at Long Wittenham, in a 10-0 win.

Tai Thomas grabbed a couple, with Dominic Bruno and Daniel Aktar also netting.

Rover Cowley found their inaugural UTV game a doddle, overcoming Railway Wheatley 7-0.

Carl Bloomfield hit a hat-trick, with his brother Craig, Paul Bough, Lee Smith and Ryan Macer also on target and veteran Dale Macer missing a penalty.

Oxford Yellows striker Sean Flaherty smashed a four-timer to help his side into round two with a 6-0 home win over Abba Athletic.

Craig Hanlon and Piers McGlynn also netted.

Childrey OHB avoided a shock, just, thanks to a 2-1 win at Cross Keys Wallingford.

Strikes from Alan Haynes and Tom North were enough to put the Premier outfit through, a goal from Keys’ James Oliver keeping it tight.

Abingdon Exiles did Division 3A proud and gave Kennington United a scare as the Division 1 outfit held on for a 2-1 win.

It took an 84th minute winner for Kennington to avoid extra time, Stu McMahon and Jay Parker their scorers.

Dean Godwin was on target for Exiles, who played out the game with ten men as his brother Adam went off injured.

Bowyer Arms are another Division 3 that made Division 1 opponents sweat, as Sutton Revolution needed extra time and penalties to edge the shoot-out 4-3, after a 3-3 thriller.

Jack Nicholl hit a double for Bowyers, Liam Robinson getting the other.

Tom Srawley struck twice for Revolution, with Chris Shahab making sure of extra time.

Skipper Jason Fisher hit the winning spot-kick after extra-time was dead-locked.

OUP Wanderers had an-other battle with Abingdon Knights, but prevailed in a 4-2 home win.

A Steve Doyle double helped Wanderers through, Dean Williams and Jack Mort also on target.

Goals from Chris Stringer and Luke French kept the tie close.

Kidlington Royals held on to a 4-3 victory over a battling Didcot Casuals.

Lewis Coyle’s hat-trick was vital for the Royals, Dan Sherbourne hitting their other.

A Johnny Eudell double and a strike from Adam Cusack had Royals players hoping for the final whistle.

Freeland Yeoman eased into round two following a 3-0 home success over White Horse Abingdon.

Steven Carvey, Ryan Inch and Matty Hardy’s strikes were enough for the Yeoman Jimmy Deabill smashed a four-timer for Black Heads Bletchingdon in a 9-1 hammering of Berinsfield Reb-els.

Andy White grabbed a double, with Adam Wells, Andy Wheeler and Chris Philpot also netting.

Third division Iffley Harriers were taken all the way to a penalty shoot-out, but lost out to second division Res-earch Machines.

The game ended all square at 2-2 with Jack Barrett and an own goal accounting for the Harriers tally.

Neil Hillier and Andy Cummings’s strikes ensured a shootout for RM, who ended with nine men due to injury, before Adam Luck hit the winning penalty.

Mansfield Road were on the right end of a five-goal thriller, edging lower opposition Zubry Oxford, 3-2.

The Polish lads showed great spirit, but fell to strikes from Max Burton and Jack White.

For the second week running, Zubry conceded an own goal, while Pawel Falkiewicz and Andrzej Krason netted at the right end.

Wallingford Exiles were thrown off kilter by Oxford FC and it cost them in a 3-1 loss at home.

The late-arriving Oxford scored through Seiko Bangoura, Reve Basanti and Craig Chitambo, while Exiles replied through Sabri Veseli.

Yellow Eagles were denied at the death by a controversial penalty in a 5-4 defeat to King & Queen Wheatley.

Craig Thomas cracked it home from the spot to put his side through.

Ricky Goodenough, Lee Rendell, Thom Airs and Ryan Simpson netted for Eagles.

Wheatley’s other strikes came from Brian and Craig Kerry, Michael Ridge and Ben Jones.
