MASONS Arms got their Oxford City FA campaign off to a flying start when beating Thame United Churches 7-1, writes ALAN THOMAS.
Tim Small (2), Ellis Horwood, Jordan Veale and Tom Beresford put the hosts 5-0 up in the Division 1 fixture.
Veale netted his second after the break and Horwood scored a penalty, before Max Bentley hit Thame’s reply.
Headington Butchers drew 2-2 with Union Street.
Matt Timms and Alex Stamper fired Butchers ahead, but goals from Ian Patten and Tom Clews earned a point.
Florence Park beat fellow new boys Great Milton Reserves 15-0, while East Oxford won 8-1 against Chinnor A.
Chequers and Dorchester played out a 3-3 draw.
