Wantage Town take a break from their Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division promotion campaign for a trip to Ascot United in the semi-final of the Bluefin Sports Challenge Cup tomorrow.
After coming from behind to beat Highworth Town 4-2 on Tuesday, the Alfredians can make it five wins on the bounce, but assistant manager Andy Lyne expects key players to be rested.
He said: “We will again almost certainly shuffle the pack with one eye on the Reading game on Easter Monday.”
That gives promotion rivals Ardley United the chance to reclaim their place at the top of the Premier Division table as they travel to already-relegated Abingdon Town.
Ardley are two points behind Wantage, with both sides having three matches to play.
In Division 1 East, Headington Amateurs host Chalfont Wasps in their penultimate match of the season.
TOMORROW’S SQUAD
Headington Am (v Chalfont Wasps, home): from: Jenkins, Morbey, Nkwanyuo, Lester, Henderson, Brown, B Cuff, Zaja, Payne, Cook, Fowler, Green, Williams, Hedger, L Cuff, Craft.
