CHRIS Allen says his Oxford United side are relishing the chance to test themselves against top quality opposition in the FA Youth Cup.
Goals from Sam Humphreys, James Roberts and Josh Ashby earned the under 18s a 3-1 win at Southend United last month to set up a third round meeting with Swansea City.
They visit the Premier League club on Tuesday and although the odds are stacked against the U’s, youth team manager Chris Allen is looking forward to seeing how they handle the challenge.
He said: “It is going to be difficult because clubs now like to start from the bottom and emulate the first team.
“So they are going to move the ball well, but we enjoy playing against teams who do that, so it will be a good game.
“We are going there to win it. We will do our preparation and attack the game – it’s a cup tie, so we will go all out.”
