ANACLET Odhiambo hit a hat-trick as Kidlington Royals came from behind to thrash Kings Arms Wheatley 6-1 and reach the OFA Sam Waters Cup final for the second successive season.

Hosts Wheatley got away to a fantastic start in the semi final, when Tom Payne headed in Aftab Hafiz’s first-minute free-kick.

The lead lasted until the 35th minute, when a neat move ended with Odhiambo collecting Paul Alder’s pass and shooting past Wheatley goalkeeper Harry Jenkins.

Jelroy Constant and Liam O’Callaghan scored either side of the break to put the visitors in charge.

After weathering a good spell from Wheatley, the Royals made the tie safe when Ryan Curtin volleyed home to make it 4-1 midway through the second half.

Odhiambo scored twice more, while Wheatley finished with ten men after Jenkins was sent off in the 90th minute for handling outside the penalty area.

Their opponents in the final are yet to be decided, with Oxford Sports & Social Club awaiting the winners of Dorchester United and Henley.
