OXFORD United have a doubt over Joe Rothwell as they face Coventry City this afternoon.
The midfielder missed training on Thursday with a sickness bug and will be assessed to see if he has recovered sufficiently to play against the Sky Blues.
Skipper John Lundstram, dropped to the bench for last weekend’s 2-0 defeat at Shrewsbury Town, would be the obvious candidate to replace the 21-year-old.
U’s boss Michael Appleton will definitely have to make one change, with a serious knee injury sidelining Liam Sercombe.
Alex MacDonald, who scored for the development side in midweek, is one option, while Tyler Roberts and Benji Buchel return to the fold after international duty.
Coventry have only long-term injury absentees Chris Stokes (knee) and Chris McCann (hamstring) in their treatment room.
Boss Mark Venus made several changes for the 2-1 Emirates FA Cup first round replay victory against Morecambe on Tuesday and must decide which players deserve to keep their place.
